Do your best and God will do the rest

Life as you know isn't always easy. For some it can be an incredible battle of hardships at times. Maybe you feel you are not going anywhere in your health, finances or spiritual growth. Everyone has doubts at times and everyone makes mistakes. Perhaps you are failing your goal of being stoic in times of suffering. Even the esteemed JFK when warned his back operation may kill him, replied that he rather be dead than suffer the pain anymore. Perhaps it is something smaller like taking up smoking again or having that drink you promised you wouldn't. Maybe you are down on yourself for praying not to do something only to find yourself do it a few minutes later. Spiritual and personal growth can often take time. Everyone has doubts and frustration. The important thing is not to get too down on yourself. Even Jesus cried out to our Heavenly Father: "why have you deserted me?" So relax a little if you lose heart because you are certainly in good company. All you have to do, is your best, even if this means failing at times. Doing your best means that their is nothing else you can do. When you do your best, God says OK now its my turn to fix this problem. So relax a little today knowing that God sees every effort you make and not the failings.
